I wish I was as smart as James Governor seems to think I am. I agree with some of Governor's points about Roller and I'm honored to be on the same page with his A-Team, but I think he's overlooking a lot of very cool work that's going on at Sun and a lot of absolutely brilliant people here who most definitely "get it" in every way.

doh - missed this. you are smart enough... that's the key point. we can't all be godlike geniuses like bryan cantrell... but you are definitely smart enough. overlook what? Sun does a TON of great innovation that doesn't find its way into business models-really that is what i meant to encourage. there is no shortage of great stuff at Sun - but for now the marketing and business creation isn't long tail enough. The JEE uber alles crowd, the millionaires, have tended to have an awful lot of influence on what makes it to market and what doesn't. i am not overlooking it - i am encouraging it!
