Looking Glass under GPL, really?

I knew that Project Looking Glass was going to become open source software, but I was a little surprised to hear Scott McNealy mention, during his JavaOne keynote, that it would be released under GPL. Was that a slip up?

<p>Not a mistake - there large-as-life on the <a href="http://lg3d.dev.java.net/">Project Looking Glass page on java.net</a> - quite a departure, I agree. With <a href="http://jdnc.dev.java.net/">JDNC</a> released as LGPL as well it could be the start of an interesting trend.</p> <p>S.</p>
