It is hard to parse the hype from the reality on the Prevayler wiki. More importantly (as stated in the linked post), little attention is paid to when Prevayler isn't appropriate. I think the closest they come is "Prevayler isn't always appropriate". Well, isn't that helpful? I'm off it for the moment, but I plan to come back to implementing a Prevayler persistence layer for Roller. This should give us a fair comparison against O-R tools such as Castor and Hibernate.
