Erik Hatcher is not the only one with a Java port of the minimalist Perl-based Blosxom blogger software; Robert Rasmussen has one too. He says he will be moving over to it, and posting the code, soon.

Thanks for the publicity! Just to clarify though - I started with a straight port of blosxom, but have decided to go in a far more sophisticated direction with Lucene driving the retrieval and storage, and currently Velocity for templating. So far so good - now just to squeeze more hours in a day to work on it!
