PowerPoint is like a loaded AK-47.

I agree. Powerpoint doesn't kill meetings, it kills the 30 - 40 hours of productivity prior to the meeting. Time wasted on tweaking the slide animations and the background colors. It's less like an AK-47, and more like an intestinal parasite. The more effort you put in, the less productive you are. Eventually, the host, your career, dies of atrophy.
