Lucene in Action

JRoller blogger Otis Gospodnetic is working with Erik Hatcher on a book about the Lucene search engine. BTW, Roller's search feature is powered by Lucene.

It's a pretty bad ad for lucene, considering that it's very very rare to actually get a relevant result in roller ;)

We have had problems with search, but it's looking pretty good in Roller 0.9.9. For example, search for 'continuation' like so:<p /> http://www.rollerweblogger.org/search?q=continuation
