        <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Michael Kimsal did an informal &lt;a href=&quot;http://michaelkimsal.com/blog/?p=458&quot;&gt;survey of computer language use and religion&lt;/a&gt; on his blog a couple of weeks ago. The results don&amp;#39;t seem very surprising to me. 

Like &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_atheists#Science_and_technology&quot;&gt;Alan Turing, Linus Torvolds and Richard Stallman&lt;/a&gt;, most developers are either atheists or agnostics.&lt;/p&gt;

It&amp;#39;s an excellent documentary and well worth seeing if you want to understand what&amp;#39;s going on in the deep red areas of the USA. It&amp;#39;s truly scary stuff, but church folk aren&amp;#39;t all like that -- check out &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.butler.edu/clergyproject/rel_evol_sun2007.htm&quot;&gt;Evolution Sunday&lt;/a&gt; coming this weekend to a pulpit near you.</content>
